91. Being the Breadwinner Series Pt 3 How to Manage Stress, Energy, and Mindset During This Transition
Welcome back to our new series “Being the Breadwinner!” In part three of this series, we’re addressing some relationship problems that come up when you become the breadwinner of your family. This week, we talk about how to manage stress, energy, and mindset during this transition.  In this episode, I highlighted all the factors that depleted my energy when I became the breadwinner. My sister was diagnosed with cancer, my new position was incredibly demanding, and I even off-boarded all of my clients to focus on my new job and my family. Looking back now, my husband and I made conscious decisions within our relationship to make sure that I didn’t burn out. We made sure that I could still be there for my family, for my career, and for my marriage by identifying where I needed support in this new chapter of our lives.  Check out this week's episode to hear more about how getting support helped me manage my stress and energy during this time, and how I help my clients identify the support they need from their partners.   Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! If this episode resonated with you and you're ready to work with me during this season of your life, then I invite you to book a call for us to connect and chat. During this call, you will share what is going on in your life, what you have tried so far, and I will share how I can help. I can't wait to meet you, chica. P.S. 90. Being the Breadwinner Pt 2: How To Support Your Partner’s Dreams
Welcome back to our brand new series “Being the Breadwinner!”. In part 2 of this series, we’ll be addressing some relationship problems that can come up when you become the breadwinner of your family. This week, we’re going to talk about how to support your partner’s dreams.  As their partner, you don’t need to understand their dream. You just need to be there for them. Being there for them is the most important thing because it will allow them to feel safe with you.  When your partner allows you into their dream and you show up for them without needing to fix anything or criticize anything, they will feel safe with you. And in turn, you will be able to have more discernment about their dreams and they will feel more supported and pushed to achieve it.  Check out this week's episode to hear more about how you can support your partner’s dream and how I help my clients find themselves again when they’re feeling lost in their partner’s dream.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! Welcome to our brand new series Being the Breadwinner! In this series, we’ll be addressing some relationship problems that can come up when you become the breadwinner of your family. This week, we’re going to talk about how to stop arguing about the bills.   Arguing about bills can be a sign that you are not aligned on your money values as a couple. And because you’re not aligned, you’re arguing about how to spend your money without having a why or a how for your money. 88. Spring Clean Your Relationship Pt. 4: Tell Me About Myself
Welcome to Part 4 of our latest series, Spring Clean Your Relationship! This week, we are asking our partners to tell us about ourselves. Hearing what your partner thinks of you is a crucial part of your relationship because your partner is your mirror. They are going to notice things about you that you don’t notice about yourself. And if you trust them, you’re going to want to listen to them. Because this can be a lesson you need to learn about yourself.  So when you ask this question, I want you to really listen to what they say and try not to get offended. Because, if you do trust your partner then you trust them to tell you about yourself - whether it’s good or bad.  Check out this week's episode to hear four things to remember when asking this question and how I guide my clients through these types of conversations.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! 87. Spring Clean Pt. 3: What are Your Plans For Next Month?
Welcome to Part 3 of our latest series, Spring Clean Your Relationship! This week, we are asking our partners the question: What are your plans for next month? We’re going to work on your short-term goals to see if you can do life with this person in the long term.  Because when you’re deciding if this is the person you want to do life with, the emphasis is usually on long-term goals. What do we want to do in five years, in ten years, in fifteen years? A lot of big ideas come into place.  But when you are making long-term goals in your relationship, they’re still a fantasy. You both have to take very small steps in order to watch these big goals be achieved. If this is the person you want to be with for the rest of your life, you have to see if they can handle the short-term plans.  Check out this week's episode to hear how focusing on short-term plans can give you the answers that you need and how I help my clients navigate these short-term plans in their relationships. 86. Spring Clean Your Relationship Pt 2: Do Our Values Still Align?
Welcome to Part 2 of our newest series, Spring Cleaning Your Relationship! This week, we are asking our partners the question: Do our values still align? Figuring out if your values are aligned will help you figure out if this is the person you want to continue to do life with. Because your values and your partner's values are the way that you both navigate the world and make daily decisions. It impacts the way that you talk to each other, how you act, and how you feel towards each other.  Your values are the foundation of the type of person that you are. And, I want you to have this conversation while keeping five specific values in mind. These values are:  Faith Family and Friends  Money  Your Careers Your Hobbies  These values are so important to talk about because we don’t start the relationship thinking about these values. We talk about how attracted we are to each other or how good of a time we're having right now and how amazing the conversations are. These conversations are fun but they’re really not getting into the values you need to think about when deciding whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life with this person. Check out this week's episode to hear how talking about these values can improve the future of your relationship and how I help my clients work through the difficult answers that can come up during these conversations. 85. Spring Clean Your Relationship Pt. 1: Am I Still The One?
This week, we are kicking off a brand new series called Spring Cleaning Your Relationship! This is a four-part series that you can use to check in with your partner, strengthen your relationship, and make sure you’re still a team.  Part One of this new series will focus on one question: Am I still the one? Notice how we’re not asking, “Do you still love me?” And that’s because the answer to that question is not enough. You can love someone and not want to do life with them anymore. This is why we’re checking in with our partners and creating a safe space to hear their answers.  Check out this week's episode to hear how having these heavy conversations improved my marriage and how I help my clients create a safe space within their relationships to have these conversations. 84. Top 3 Things I Learned About Marriage

84. Top 3 Things I Learned About Marriage
In this week’s episode, we’re discussing the top three things I learned about marriage.  Marriage is a lot of work, but it’s not hard if you’re paying attention to your partner. Your partner is the love of your life, but they’re also their own person. They have their own wants and needs, their own hobbies you won’t understand, and their own way of needing space. And a marriage works best when you can understand these lessons and respect them. Over the years, I’ve learned how to respect our differences and respect our roles in the relationship. The top three things I learned about marriage are:  I’m not always right Support doesn't mean they have to understand what you're doing Space looks completely different for everybody Check out this week's episode to learn more about these lessons and how I use them to help my clients do the work and create a more compassionate marriage.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! 83. Top 3 Signs You Are Falling Out of Love with Your Partner
In this week’s episode, we’re discussing the top three signs you are falling out of love with your partner.  There is a difference between being “in love” and having “love” for your partner. When you have love for your partner you respect them and have care and compassion for them. However, being “in love” requires you to consciously decide to be with this person and share the rest of your life.  Falling “out of love” with our partners can be very scary because it clashes with the big decision of doing life with them. Listen as I walk you through the top 3 signs of falling “out of love” with your partner and how I guide my clients through the problems that can arise during this time and towards a more loving relationship.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! 81. How to Be Ok When Your Partner is Not Ok
In this week’s episode, we talk about how to be ok when your partner is not ok.  It can be incredibly stressful to know that your partner is having a hard time. But it’s also important to remember that your partner is not a problem to be solved. You don’t have to “fix” them every time your partner has an issue.  Many of my clients have a hard time letting go of the fixer role and giving their partners the space to solve their own problems. That’s why in this week's episode, I’m going to share with you how I would guide my clients during this stressful time.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! 80. Breaking Up and Never Making Up
In this week’s episode, we talk about breaking up and never making up and why that’s so difficult for you.  When you break up, you start to mourn all the promises that were made during the relationship. You naturally start to feel like this relationship was a waste of time. But healing comes when you start to accept the lessons this relationship taught you. These are exactly the feelings that I help my clients process to heal themselves, forgive their partners, and acknowledge the lessons they experienced within this relationship. Tune in to hear more about how I guide my clients through these breakups. Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you! 79. Ride-or-Die Couples: Why You Have So Many Blow-Ups
In this week’s episode, we talk about why ride-or-die couples have so many blow-ups.   When you are in a ride-or-die relationship your partner's opinion matters so much to you that when it seems like they’re being even a little negative, you’re going to have an argument.  I see this happen all the time with the couples I coach, and it’s because you take your opinions so seriously. You care so much about what your partner thinks of you that if they don’t automatically love what you love, you’re going to feel unsupported, and it creates a blow-up.  This is an all too common problem that we can fix together. Tune in to hear how to stop arguing and be more intimate with your partner.  Click the link to listen below and email me back with your thoughts, I want to hear from you!
