The Glass House with Ben and Lynley Mandrell

Lifeway Podcast Network

Ministry Leaders and their families live in a “glass house”—an environment where they are left vulnerable to the stress of ministry, the criticism of others, and feel the spotlight on their personal weaknesses. Lifeway's "The Glass House" is a space where ministry leaders will shed light on the challenges they often don't feel permission to talk about. Listeners who work in the trenches of church life will feel seen and gain tools to navigate ministry and life. Those who live outside this "glass house" will better understand what it's like to dwell there. Join Ben and Lynley Mandrell for these shockingly confessional—yet redemptive—conversations.

The conversation also touches on the significance of creating welcoming and well-designed spaces for guests, the value of outdoor spaces, the return to on-campus adult education spaces, and the opportunity to right-size large sanctuaries. 105. Family Rhythms and Routines with Lynley Mandrell and Angie Elkins
Send us a textToday on the Glass House we are surprising you with a really special Friday episode.  At Lifeway we have some really fantastic podcasts that we want to make sure you know about.  Angie Elkins is our producer on the Glass House, but she also has her own show called Let It Shine.  Lynley has been a co-host with her this season and they had a really interesting conversation around family rhythms.  We are sharing it with you today.  Make sure you check out Let It Shine and give it a follow too.  We think you'll love it. From Angie: As a mom of three kids, one of my favorite things to do is hear from other moms what's working and not working for them. I love hearing about the rhythms, routines, and habits that different families have creatd and formed to help them build the home and family they desire to have. One of my favorite people to talk about this topic with is Lynley Mandrell. Lynley is one of the most intentional and strategic people I know, so when it comes to habits and routines, she's the perfect person to talk to! In fact, Lynley cohosts The Glass House Podcast with her husband, Ben, and they have an entire episode on the topic of family values, rythyms, and routines! We know that no two families are the same and certainly none of us are perfect! We hope this episode encourages you and inspires you to make small changes to be intentional in building the family and home you know God wants you to have!
