My Turning Point

10-01-2020 • 36 Min.

Before he took the stage for a special set at the Grammy Museum in L.A., Hozier sat down with My Turning Point host Steve Baltin for a conversation on songwriting, music theory, Tom Waits and how he has learned to care less what others think as he's gotten older. "You realize there's nothing fucking subtle about the issues that piss you off," he explained   "There is nothing subtle about the legacy of war, poverty, racism. It's fucking blinding and it's deeply upsetting. And so why be subtle about your approach to it? And you kind of just care less, what if I offend somebody? Who cares?"For more original LiveXLive podcasts and the best in streaming music and video, head to https://www.livexlive.comTwitter: https://twitter.com/livexliveInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/livexlive/ Learn more about your ad choices.
