To wrap up our special run of episodes covering Fantastic Fest @Home we discuss the restored new 70's Classic "Solomon King" and the the documentary "Chop and Steele" all about the two guys from the Found Footage Festival and their quest for weird VHS tapes and fooling the America's Morning News shows.

The guys are doing FantasticFest@Home and talk about some of their faves! Including a deep dive on Birdemic 3 and Shin Ultraman.

It's a special run of HiLo Cast episodes where we get together and discuss the offerings at FantasticFest@Home running until October 6th! First up a discussion of the truly bizarre yet heart warming documentary "A Life on the Farm" a fascinating look at a remote English farmer and his passion for making self produced feature length films for his neighbors. From TV Guide 05/18/05 Part 1 of 3. In the first-season finale, the day of the plane crash is recalled as Rousseau (Mira Furlan) shocks the survivors with a warning about "the others." Meanwhile, Jin and Michael wrap up preparations for the raft's maiden voyage. Friend of the show and Wild Man expert Stefan returns to help kick off the finale! This episode features the fake voice of Tom Hanks.

TV Guide 05/11/05 A castaway's omen about the looming monsoon season triggers a war for seats on the nearly completed raft and a possible plot against one of its architects. Meanwhile, Jack and Locke reach a tentative truce over that mysterious latch, though neither Sayid nor Walt are at peace with the pair's plans for it; and more of Kate's past is revealed after the threat of rescue pits her against an all-too-informed Sawyer. Everyone on the podcast loves Dirty Ole Arzt what an interesting new friend who has always been there!

TV Guide 05/04/05 The events that landed Sayid on Flight 815 play out as he engages Locke in a psychological game of cat and mouse to uncover the truth about the mishap that claimed Boone. Meanwhile, Kate struggles to keep Jack from acting on his rage, as Shannon also makes plans for her brother's alleged killer; and Sawyer proves to be the best thing for Claire's very unhappy baby. Paul gets tired of all this "Hatch" talk, we are all about the "Latch" now.

TV Guide 04/06/05 With Locke mysteriously unaccounted for and another survivor in dire need of Jack's medical assistance, what better time for a terrified Claire to go into labor with a clueless Charlie by her side. At least things are beginning to look up for Sayid, who makes a grand romantic gesture to Shannon. Paul's further meddling into using A.I. for his Perspective starts to produce horrifying result, plus the "Animal Brain Bracket" kicks off.

TV Guide 03/30/05 Medical problems abound, as Jack toys with letting Sawyer suffer from his blinding headaches and Locke develops strange symptoms of his own while trying to crack open that enigmatic hatch. Meanwhile, the rift between Michael and Jin makes work on the raft quite a chore. Paul pulls of something huge with his Perspective, and the guys reminiscence about Mouse Trap and Locke's beautiful fake hair.

TV Guide 03/02/05 A jungle trek obsesses Hurley, and endangers a few others, when he goes after the elusive Rousseau and the secret to numbers on her map...which are very familiar to him. Eric Z. returns to the podcast and the guys try to give him a fun Hurley episode to talk about...but he just wants to talk about Jin and Sun all day.

TV Guide 02/23/05 More on the intriguing backstory of Jin and Sun is framed by increasing suspicions and feelings of dread among the survivors, fueled by the mysterious burning of Michael's raft. Paul is prepared to burn the show to the ground with the development of Hurley being on Korean television.

TV Guide 02/16/05 Details of Sawyer's troubled past surface in flashbacks focusing on a sleazy con artist (Robert Patrick, "The X-Files") that are interwoven with Sawyer's hunt for a boar. Kate accompanies him on the search for a creature he believes has it in for him. Stefan returns to take on the mantle of "Wild Man Expert" as we analyze Sawyers deep distrust for piggys.

TV Guide 02/09/05 The search is on for Ethan, the crazed jungle denizen who let Claire escape from him and now wants her back...or else. The manhunt's driven by Charlie, guilt-ridden by memories of another woman he let down that are recalled in telling flashbacks. The guys head back to England to hang with the Skags and the Moose's and dig deeper into Charlie's (The Bucket) backstory.

TV Guide 01/19/2005 Fatherhood tests Michael, who is desperate for the affection of his 10-year-old son, Walt, and whose backstory reveals turmoil, tragedy and a chilling confidence regarding Walt, that "when [he's] around, things happen."Jeremy the Artist joins the show just in time to witness "Paul's Perspective" reach its natural robotic zenith.

TV Guide 01/12/05 A strange unearthed discovery rattles Boone, whose dark past is revealed in a shocking backstory that recalls his life with Shannon and presages the return of the beast. Another revelation concerns soft-spoken Sun, who becomes a confidante of Kate. Shannon and Allen try to get Paul interested in the Hatch and later he introduces his very own "Animal Brain Bracket" and spends a good amount of time explaining it.

TV Guide 01/05/05 Mysteries surround Kate, embattled with Sawyer over an impenetrable, salvaged briefcase, which apparently contains something (or things) known only to her. A backstory centers on Kate's troubled past, and her ties to criminals and violence. Paul introduces the concept of the Animal Brain to the podcast in an episode that no one seemed to like.

TV Guide 12/08/04 While in search of the missing Charlie and Claire, Jack must deal with the jarring memories of his relationship with his alcoholic father, who, like Claire, he sought to save. TV Guide 12/1/04 Claire's nightmares trigger flashbacks to her split from the father of her unborn child and meetings with a scary psychic, warning of the baby's dire fate. While Paul has not decided to 'Pull the Plug' on season 1 of the podcast, he HAS decided that Claire is having the Anti-Christ and boy o' boy do we get into it.

TV Guide 11/17/04 The survivors are not alone. Sayid is taken captive by a long-time strandee: an armed and cryptic French woman (Mira Furlan), who's alternately violent and sympathetic. The ordeal triggers painful memories for Sayid, who recalls his past as an interrogator. Shannon and Allen try and salvage the podcast as Paul is sickened at the thought of the survivors playing golf.
