It’s something that could affect everybody who goes abroad, but doesn’t have to. Therefore, it is an advantage to be aware of it and to be able to detect the symptoms in yourself or others. This is the second and final episode on the topic of sustainability. After we dealt with sustainable travel two weeks ago, this week we look at how you can make your life around your studies (more) sustainable. First we talk to Lenja from the STUVUS Department of Sustainability and then to Dr. Felix Hebeler from the Green Office. In addition to general tips on how you can make your life more sustainable, there are also lots of great ideas for getting involved yourself. Perhaps you would like to join one of the STUVUS working groups or present your proposal for a joint project to the Green Office? This is the first of two episodes on sustainability on the #UniStuttgartInternational podcast. In this episode, we show you several possibilities on how to travel sustainably to and from your student exchange. We are talking to Maximilian and Carl from the student led-initiative #ErasmusbyTrain on how to travel by train throughout Europe – even to far away destinations. The interview also provides tips and tricks for anyone who wants to travel through Europe by train, independently of an Erasmus+ exchange. We will introduce you to the Erasmus+ green top-up and Leonie tells us about her train travel through France.
