Concurrently, Dr. Ajaj heads the UAE chapter of Women in Renewable Energy Canada, advocating for diversity in the sustainability field. She also serves as Cluster Leader for Climate Change and Public Health at the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, advising national policy.
Dr. Ajaj has over 15 years of multi-sector experience. Her research expertise encompasses occupational health, climate adaptation, radiation protection, and more. Prior to academia, Dr. Ajaj regulated radiation facilities as a Health Physicist, ensuring stringent safety standards. She also advised petroleum organizations, gaining industry-level insights.
