Negative people can harm your attitude if you're not careful. It’s important to be weary of the cycle of negativity and getting stuck in this ugly circle of negative ideas and opinions. Episode 7: Interview with Scaling Strategist Kara Renninger
In this special episode, I am joined by a fairly new friend and colleague, Scaling Strategist Kara Renninger. We connect over the idea that it is up to us to choose something different for our lives and our business. Making a big impact in the world really matters to Kara and to do that, you have to be driven, direct, and honest. Many people don’t really say what they want in life or in business, but if you don’t get clear, come out and say it. It’s unlikely to happen. In our society, too often, women possessing these qualities of purpose, translate into ‘being bitchy’. But that is not the case. We do not have to use small talk to step around important issues; it’s okay and even admirable to be direct about what you think. The more you are able to use your voice and speak out, the more success you will see, in your relationships and business alike. We also discuss motivation, and the truth behind staying motivated is peer support and a powerful mindset. You can change your business or your life, but ya gotta get off your couch and get right in your mind. If you’re a woman who knows there is more out there for you, you are absolutely right. And if you don't have the support to push you there, you need to reach out to me, to Kara. You need to have positive advocates in your life. What’s Inside:How to make the conscious choice for a different life and business.Direct, honest, and driven are three qualities that don’t equal ‘bitchy’ in women. How to stay motivated by using positive advocates.Speak up and speak out about what you want and what it takes to get there.Mentioned In This Episode:Are you longing to break free from the pain and frustration caused by your limiting beliefs? Scaling Appraisal Call with Kara Renningerjennifer@sherocoaching.comJennifer PerriJennifer Perri on LinkedIn

Episode 4: Don't Stop Believing-The Power Self Authority
Don't stop believing… yes I am singing that to you.Today I am talking all about self authority and the power of believing in yourself. You probably hear that phrase, “believe in yourself” often, but what does this common piece of advice really mean?  When you dig deep into the self awareness and confidence that play into self belief and authority, others are unable to pressure you to do anything you don’t want to do, and no one can hold you back from the things you know you can accomplish. At the end of the day, YOU are your only limit. Outside perspective is important, but no one knows you like you know yourself, and with regular introspection, you can have unbreakable self-confidence. Focusing on increasing self-esteem becomes an exercise in what really is a self-fulfilling prophecy. But what about the monster known as self-doubt? I want you to leave today’s episode knowing it's a present piece that needs support and attention, but not something to fear. It’s okay to explore the root of that self-doubt and challenge it. That’s the first step I share in increasing and nurturing your self-authority. I also encourage you to make a shift to cut toxic and negative influences from your life—a “No Manifesto” you’ll hear me talk about often. Today’s Affirmation and Self Reflection:I don’t have to be perfect; I just have to be real. (Listen in for the full expanded affirmation). In what ways do I strive for perfection?Am I happy with myself?Do I stress about the past or future, or do I enjoy the reality of the moment?Self-belief is not optional; it's vital. I encourage you to take the tips shared today to heart, journal, reflect and every day continue to believe in yourself more. What’s Inside:What does it mean to believe in yourself? How to challenge self doubt.Tips for nurturing self-esteem and self belief.Self reflection and affirmation for self authority.Mentioned In This Episode:jennifer@sherocoaching.comJennifer PerriJennifer Perri on LinkedIn
