Tom started his career at Warp Records where Lex was initially a Warp sub-label. Tom took it fully independent in 2005. Lex is best known for releasing music by Danger Mouse, MF DOOM, Neon Neon and BADBADNOTGOOD & Ghostface Killah. In 2011 Lex started production on a series of short films written by Alan Moore and directed by Mitch Jenkins, the films were screened at film festivals worldwide and are now licensed to AMC's Shudder. Well, he started his professional career with many years in the music industry, holding positions of radio promotions at Warp Records and then, label manager at Lex Records. Sophie Small, COO and Head of Music at Music Gateway cut her teeth in the live sector as an intern and Artist Liaison at Festival Republic before moving to music tech platform, Music Gateway, in 2014. She joined the company as an intern and was promoted through the ranks to Marketing Manager in 2015 and Head of Operations in 2016. At 23, Sophie led her first major UK-wide campaign from inception to fulfilment, managing Music Gateway’s lead team, in partnership with Gibson Brands and Argos & Metropolis. Today, as COO and Head of Music, Sophie manages targets and KPIs across each department. She is passionate about levelling the playing field and empowering independents who need help creating, managing and monetizing their music.  And Joining Sophie is Rachael Scarsbrook.Rachael Scarsbrook works as the Music Promotions Manager at Music Gateway.  Rachael is charged with devising and delivering campaigns to help artists gain exposure across radio, DSPs, TV, Press & Online in order to build their brands and network of fans. She started out in music journalism at age 16 and went on to study journalism at university.  Rachael hosted and produced student radio and was the Music Editor for the student paper in print and online. She has gone on to be published in The 405, The Guardian, GoldFlakePaint, SOUNDS Magazine, Highclouds & Renowned For Sound.  Rach also writes festival reviews for Festival Republic and can be found working the merch desk of MUNA shows throughout the UK. She joined Music Gateway early last year after she sold the CMO a coffee in the cafe where she was working. Alison developed AIM’s strength and visibility in representing the British music industry SMEs at a political level, working closely with government departments to shape and advise on legislation relevant to the industry.Prior to founding AIM, Alison was MD at BMG Conifer International (UK), having sold Conifer Records (which under her direction had grown to be the UK’s largest independent record and distribution company in the specialist music field) to BMG in 1994.In 2006 Alison was elected as founding Chairman of WIN, the Worldwide Independent Network comprising over 25 independent trade associations representing thousands of independent music companies globally.  She is a founding Board Member of IMPALA, the European organisation representing the interests of small record companies and publishers in Europe, a fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, was a founding Board Director of Merlin, the independent global rights licensing agency, and also UKMusic, the body representing the UK Music Industry; she attends PPL and VPL Board meetings and sits on a variety of government and industry committees.In 2006, Alison was inducted into the MMF Roll of Honour , and in March 2009 she was presented with a Special Achievement award by Music Week, for 10 years of AIM. She has featured in Billboard’s Top Women in Music every year since publication.In 2010, Alison was honoured with an OBE. On top of this Daniel worked his way up from Music Assistant to Key Account Manager at Universal Music’s Production Music division. He made the move of leaving Universal in 2018 for No Sheet Music where Daniel holds the position of Business Development ManagerAnd joining Daniel is Jeremy Newton who has a degree in History and International Relations from the Nottingham Trent University started his working career as Account Manager at Acylicize where they create bespoke Art & Installations for all types of interiors. From there he moved over to be the Business Development Manager at The Odyssey Media Collective where they produce hi-speed video production. He then took a year away from Odyssey to work freelance as a Business Development Manager at video production company Run Productions. At the same time Jeremy started, and has continued to this day working as a DJ, Promoter and Radio Host under the name Uncle Vibes, playing regularly at renowned London venues in addition to festivals including Secret Garden Party, Shambala and Boomtown, hosting the monthly Adelphoi Show on Soho Radio, promoting various parties rooted in groove including the legendary Open Vinyl Sessions that has graced Ronnie Scott's, The Hospital Club, The Groucho Club and Paradise and is currently resident at O'Meara, Jack Solomons, and Strongroom Studios. After a year at Run Productions Jeremy returned to Odyssey where he took up the position of video Producer. But in 2015 he joined Adelphoi Music at his current position of Music Supervisor overseeing and delivering bespoke compositions, sound design and sync for national and international advertising content for brands including BMW, Stella Artois, KFC, HSBC, Amazon and more.We decided that just conversation on podcasts was lacking atmosphere, so we have written and recorded unique music for each conversation.
