God chose to bear in Himself the brunt of the suffering caused by our abuse of freedom.

13.1 The early days
The sinless is willing to live among the sinful. This hurts a lot.

13.2 Despised and rejected of men
Jesus was misunderstood and hated. But he continued loving his creatures.

13.3 Jesus in Gethsemane
In this garden the fate of human beings was finalised.

13.4 The crucified God
Jesus on the cross suffered a righteous God`s righteous indignation against sin.

13.5 The suffering God
Christ has suffered much more than we will ever have to suffer.

13.6 Summary
Jesus suffered for us so that we can live eternally if we trust in Him and follow Him.
